Who is Boisset Wine Living At Home?

Boisset Wine Living At Home is the social networking arm of Boisset Family Estates based in St. Helena CA, one of the world’s most well-respected wine-making families with roots in Burgundy, France, our collection of historical estates spans the world’s most alluring terroirs. We decided it was time to create a selection of wines and merchandise specifically for the home and offer an incredible opportunity for anyone to join us in the world of wine!

Do I need to have inventory on hand?

No, because as a marketing agent you simply collect orders on behalf of our wineries.   Orders are place through your website and we take care of all the rest including processing, compliance, and directly shipping each order to the customer.

How do I get started booking wine tastings?

All Wine Consultants wonder how they’ll get started.   The best way is to send out an announcement by email or Facebook, and just talk to everyone about your new business.  Your first few wine tastings will be booked with friends and family.  At each tasting, try to book at least 1-2 additional tastings with guests.  By consistently conducting wine tastings, you will quickly expand to other social networks.

How long will it take to be profitable? How much does the average Ambassador spend to get started?

Boisset Wine Living makes it simple to launch and earn commissions quickly. Our training programs and support will help you get started immediately. With a low start-up cost of $199, you get our Starter Kit – your business in a box that includes everything you need to succeed. Plus, you will receive a current 5-bottle tasting flight to help you host your own first tasting with friends and family.  You can earn back your investment after just a few wine tastings.   Our Jump Start program allows you to earn more business supplies and wine to get you off to a fabulous start.

Can you tell me more about the compensation plan?

In addition to a starting commission of 25%,  we also offer the ability to layer your income by building a team.   Leaders can earn 2-7% on their entire team's commissionable sales with no limit to your income potential.   Our 90-Day Jump Start program also provides the opportunity to earn an additional $350 in wine and accessories when you submit $2,500 in your first three months as a Wine Ambassador!

How much can I earn?

That depends on how much you want to earn. If you’re happy doing one wine tasting a month, you may only need to work an average of 5 hours a week or less, including the hours that you’re actually at the wine tasting. Those with higher financial goals may choose to increase their hours to 10, 20, 30 hours per week - or even a full time, 40 hour work week. It’s important to remember that our mission is to provide a great income that can be balanced with personal life. The amount of time you spend working is up to you.

Why do we charge for Wine Tastings?

Boisset Wine Tastings are a fun and affordable way to entertain friends.   Most wineries charge $10 per person or more, so our tastings are a great value starting at only $79 for up to 15 people.   Tasting flights are priced at a steep discount and change every few months to keep the experience different and your hosts wanting to book again and again!

Why Wine Tastings?

Unlike clothing, consumers don’t always get the chance to “try” before they buy when it comes to wine. With thousands of brands on store shelves, wine in general can be intimidating to buy. Over 20 million people visit Napa and Sonoma each year for the opportunity to taste new wines, so why not bring that experience to homes across America?  Doing consistent wine tastings every month will help you build a profitable and successful business.

How big is the US Market for wine?

The US wine market is over $30 Billion and has grown every year for the past 18 years. Consumers are more likely to purchase a brand of wine that has been referred to them by a friend, or they have tasted personally, rather than from an advertisement, price, or packaging alone.

What does it mean to be an Ambassador?

Wine Ambassadors are independent contractors who represent our Wine Living At Home collection of wines and accessories and market them at in-home wine tastings and online. The wines are of the highest quality, and made exclusively for our home collection by our historic estate wineries. Because wine is an alcoholic beverage, we have carefully structured our business model to be in compliance with each state’s direct-to-consumer shipping laws. Our Ambassadors never have to carry inventory and never resell wine. As a Wine Ambassador you may choose to work only a few hours a week, or grow your business to a full time endeavor. As with all legitimate businesses, effort determines success.

Is this a good time to launch my business?

With the increase in wine consumption and the proliferation of social media, now is the perfect time to launch your own wine marketing business! Using your personal network to begin, you will find that almost anyone is interested in wine, and many of your friends, family, acquaintances, and neighbors want to host a wine tasting. At each tasting you do, you will meet new people and customers! Your knowledge of wine will grow along the way, along with your income, new friendships and loyal customers.
